Book Week at Sunnybrae

Last week it was Book Week at Sunnybrae. As a homework challenge, we made posters about our favourite books. Look at our posters, they are AWESOME!

We can measure using Non- Standard measurement tools.

We can measure using different items that are the same size! Here Issac has measured the width of the table using unifix blocks. Maziko is measuring the height of the table using milk containers.
Huge welcome to Miss Giri who comes to help every Monday and is teaching here today. We cant wait for her to join us for 7 weeks starting in late June.

We made Measurement Streets with Room 12.

What a super Friday! We used all our new knowledge of measurement to make buildings of different widths and heights to make a street. Room 12 helped heaps and we worked together really well.
