There's a fraction to much friction!
We did a class experiment to see which surfaces created the most friction. The children then wrote up the experiment. We will post some of the experiment write ups soon.
Here is Winnie and Joowon, pulling back the tissue box to the same point so that the energy was not different, then we measured how far the tissue box travelled on each surface.

Yum, Yum, Yum, Gingerbread for my Tum! and some Maths!!




We made Gingerbread biscuits to learn about measuring weight and capacity, temperature, and used different types of measurement, such as mils, grams, cups, teaspoons... What yummy learning.
